AH this costume was supposed to be done for Fanime 2010. Had the materials forever and I posted the wig preview so long ago...
But it's almost done now!
A few things need to be fixed/added/done to it before I can actually say it's 100% but it's close.
My 4th Ahiru/Duck costume. xD; Whaaat can I say, I really love her character & Princess Tutu in general.
Pattern for bodice: Butterick 4131
Plate/skirt I made up. But once I lined it, it became too small and doesn't cover the yellow tulle enough. ;n; (I should have known that would happen.) Maybe I'll redo it someday.
Dyed the tutu with yellow RIT dye and thankfully it actually worked. (Heard various opinions on if you can easily dye tulle and in my case, I was able to.)

I was wondering how you got the plate skirt to be so high and exactly what you use to make it? Is it being held up really high like that by wire?
