More cosplay nostalgia uploads~~
Fanime '06~ what a group! This was first time being in such a big cosplay group and it was amazing. Two of my friends (the Albert and Franz hurr)
suggested Ganku-cosplays after we watched the anime in our university's anime club and started suggesting who should do who. At first I thought they were joking because many of the outfits looked crazy-impossible and then all of a sudden we had a group. Haha.
(At least the outfit I chose for Valentine was pretty easy to construct--thank goodness!)

At the time Gankutsuou wasn't as well known and I still think it's a pretty underrated anime. It's so good. It's based on The Count of Monte Cristo. Check it out if you haven't. Don't let the weird moving clothing patterns and funkadelic colors scare you away--you'll get used to it! XD

I think I remember your group from cosplay.com photos? In any case, gorgeous! I love how you guys took the "moving" textures from the artwork and applied to to real life :3

Yeah we did a shoot with Admin way back when and the photos were on the main gallery page for a while.

I have to agree, far too underappriciated, I'm trying to urge people to see it, or at least read the original book, or both! It was the best anime I've watched[considering, I am used to main streams.]

More people definitely need to see it--it's different and it's beautifully done. (The weird animation on the clothing threw me off at first but I got used to it. XD)
